Moral story E1 The king and the peasants

The king and the peasants

Once Upon a time, there was a small kingdom, resourceful in land and water but the king didn't use them to the full potential. He had his interests in conquering the other kingdoms.

Throughout the years, everyone living under the King's rule got worried on King's doing and his interests.

They thought "the kings doing may cause the other kingdoms to start war with us. If that happens the life we know as Now will be abolished, destroyed."

To stop this from happening, people started a rebellion against their own kingdom. The rebellion leader stated out their needs in a parchment and read it out to the king.

The king and the ministers laughed at the rebellion leader. Since the king was in a good mood he spared him with life but the king burnt the parchment containing the important needs of the people.

The people felt disgusted for their needs were not heard and not respected. They awaited for the perfect time to take action.

After a week the king went to conquer another kingdom. The rebellion saw that opportunity. Soon the rebels stormed the kingdom and captured their own kingdom from the hands of the selfish king. When  the king returned he was put in jail. And the rebel leader was crowned king.

Under the rule of the rebel king, the whole kingdom lived happily ever after.
